New Filing and payment system in Egypt

The Egyptian Patent Office has adopted a new electronic filing system as well as a new payment system in order to facilitate filing and patent procedures.
The New system is now being examined and will be formerly applied in the very near future.
New patent applications are electronically filed through an online database with a temporarily filing number till the submission of a hard copy in order to obtain the ordinary filing number.
